Bart's PE Builder v3 plugin
CopyWipe for Windows by TeraByte Unlimited
Please note that TeraByte Unlimited does not provide support for BartPE or for setting up the CopyWipe for Windows BartPE plugin.
Download and/or install Bart's PE Builder, if you haven't done so already.
Extract the contents of the CopyWipe for Windows plugin to the plugin directory that was created when Bart's PE Builder was installed.
The CopyWipe for Windows plugin files should end up in plugin\copywipew, because of the folder information stored in the CopyWipe for Windows plugin archive. Ensure that this is the case.
Download CopyWipe for Windows, if you haven't done so already.
Extract the following file from the CopyWipe for Windows distribution to the plugin\copywipew directory:
COPYWIPEW.EXE
If desired, edit the file COPYWIPE.INI that can be found in the plugin\copywipew directory. The default COPYWIPE.INI contents, as supplied with this plugin, are shown below:
Please note that the file name is COPYWIPE.INI, and not COPYWIPEW.INI.
Unlike the standard version of CopyWipe, with CopyWipe for Windows, the first line of COPYWIPE.INI must be [CopyWipeW], as shown in the example above.
The NSP=1 setting in COPYWIPE.INI, which is included by default with this plugin, prevents CopyWipe for Windows from reporting errors that occur while attempting to save settings changes to COPYWIPE.INI. (NSP is short for "No settings prompt".) This can be handy in the PE environment, since, depending on configuration, the location of COPYWIPE.INI may be read-only. If you change settings in CopyWipe for Windows, those settings will be applied until you exit the program, even if they are not saved to COPYWIPE.INI.
For more information on COPYWIPE.INI, refer to the CopyWipe manual.
Build and burn the BartPE ISO file as usual.
The CopyWipe for Windows plugin is enabled by default.
If you need a utility for burning the ISO file to disc, try TeraByte Unlimited's free BurnCDCC utility.
Open a command prompt in the PE environment.
Under a default BartPE configuration, this is done by clicking Go and then Command Prompt (CMD).
In the command prompt window, enter the command COPYWIPEW.
For more information on using CopyWipe for Windows, please refer to the CopyWipe manual.
